Basically, because I’m in this romantic type of mood.

This is my chosen image from page 254. I have noticed that macaroons have been popping up all over the place at the moment. However I have gone to track down my Macaroon image collection and it seems to have disappeared... I feel that these delectable treats have lead people into temptation and the batch has slowly disappeared...
Yesterday I was at my family home so couldn’t resist doing some baking. 2 Sultana cakes ( my brother’s favourite), a chocolate cake and 2 batches of tan square; my favourite. I can’t wait to get home and get into some yummy baking. However I do have a 3 course dinner with my flat mates tonight so it will only be a sneaky piece or two... Happy Tuesday people.

Hello Tuesday Crunch. This is my pick from weheartit, page 254. There has been a lot of talk around cupcakes the last few weeks with my Aunty wanting to go into business, Cupcake Camp NZ starting up on twitter and even Johnny Cupcake is having a bake sale (great t shirts!). I couldn’t help but include some of the similar entries that surrounded this lovely cupcake. Yumm, but almost too pretty to eat!

This is my chosen image from pg 254 this week. This is something I do every week (you can find out more about it here). I would like to point out that today doesn’t feel like a Tuesday, it’s not such a drag today. I think it’s because the sun has finally come out after days of rain and cloud. Yay summer is back! Oh how i have missed your smiling face!

Anyway, I have chosen this image for a couple of reasons.
A) Colour
B) Sweetness
C) Aesthetic

It is from the blog Overflowing which is run by a girl who describes herself as “a twenty-something optimistic, hopeless romantic who's a tad bit cynical and overly sentimental.” I like this definition and I like how this picture reflects those qualities.

this weeks post from page 254

I have chosen this image for post from page 254 this week because it is how I feel today. This year has been so crazy busy with everything from work, social and family life that today feels like I have finally been able to breathe out and let my breath go and return to some normality. I will enjoy this while it lasts as I’, sure it won’t be long with the prospect of more must-do parties, brownies camps and projects to sink my teeth to on the horizon.

All I can find out about the source is that it is from Typepad via ffffound!

tuesday crunch

I hate Tuesdays’. Most people hate Mondays’ because it’s the start of the week, but for me I rather like Mondays'. They are exciting because it’s the start of the week, a fresh start, a chance to forget about the deboturous events from the weekend; that leave you vowing to yourself that this week will be different, you will not drink too much, you will catch up on some sleep and you will not text your crush to see if he wants to catch up for brunch tomorrow morning. Of course as soon as the first opportunity to give it a nudge rises it’s head you are there with bells on and it spirals out of control once again, sigh.

Wednesday’s are not as good as Mondays but are better as they are hump day and you are officially half way through the week. I rather fancy Thursdays’ as not only is it a good day to enjoy a glass with a friend after work but I find it a good day to settle down and do some serious work. And Friday well that goes without saying, hello weekend!

Tuesdays’ however have nothing, they give nothing to me and I give nothing back. So I have decided to put a positive side on Tuesdays’ and find an interesting image on page 254(my DOB) of weheartit and share it with you all.
